Gas fire pit kit – Glass pieces of fire-pit are shaped like rocks and they have been specially treated to withstand high temperatures. They come in different colors to let you choose the ones that will match your outdoor decor. You can buy decorative glass in most home and garden stores.
These fireplaces that use glass pieces will burn gas, not wood. Prepare your gas fire pit kit by putting a fire pit metal frame over a gas line properly completed outside your house. Cover the edges of the metal frame with pieces of weather-resistant drywall. Cut an opening for the gas line with tin snips. Put the fire ring kit inside the pan burner. Connect the burner to the gas line and shut-off valve. Apply masonry adhesive to the back of bricks with a trowel.
Press these bricks on metal frame to cover it all. Place the larger stones on the metal frame by covering them with glue and press them into place. Let the adhesive dry. Cap gas valve cover. Fill the gas fire pit kit with pea gravel up to a point 4 inches from the top. Pour the decorative glass stones over the pea gravel. Moving and mound decorative glass as you please.
